Canada’s Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Minister Marco Mendicino announced recently that the country will reopen its borders to international students as of 20 October 2020, according to ICEF Monitor.
Students, starting on 20 October 2020, may now enter Canada as long as they are attending a designated learning institution (DLI) identified by the government as having a COVID-19 readiness plan. Examples of DLIs include CIS partner schools Tamwood College, Niagara College, and Fanshawe College.
